LipsumX is a Lorem Ipsum placeholder text generator that provides:

• A browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge
• A web-based generator at lipsumx.neisterse.com
• An npm package (@bturkis/lipsumx) for developers
• A CLI tool (@bturkis/lipsumx-cli) for command-line usage

The Service generates placeholder text in over 30 languages for use in design mockups, software development, and content layout testing.

3. License and Usage

3.1 Grant of License

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

3.2 Open Source Components

The LipsumX npm package is released under the MIT License. You may use, modify, and distribute it in accordance with that license.

3.3 Generated Content

Lorem Ipsum text generated by the Service is in the public domain. You may use the generated placeholder text for any purpose without attribution.

4. Usage Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use automated systems or software to extract data from the Service
• Redistribute the extension through unauthorized channels
• Remove or modify any copyright or proprietary notices

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Property

The LipsumX name, logo, branding, and the specific implementation of our extension and website are protected by intellectual property laws. These remain our exclusive property.

5.2 Third-Party Content

The Lorem Ipsum text itself is based on classical Latin literature and is in the public domain. Translations and localizations in various languages are provided for convenience.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

7. Limitation of Liability

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, FOR ACCESS TO THE SERVICE DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
